Photoshop > InDesign?

Do people make a design in PS and then move it over to InDesign to have it printed for vector graphics?

If not, how do you make the type of graphics you would make in PS but in InDesign?

They're two different apps for two different purposes. Photoshop is for making pictures. InDesign is for page layout. If you are laying out a page in InDesign, and you want a picture on that page, you can use photoshop to make that picture. If you need basic vector graphics, you can draw them in InDesign. If you need more advanced vector graphics, you'll probably want to draw them in Illustrator.
