Photoshop help

Can anyone clean up an image for me?? i just scaned it in useing a Nikon Film Scanner and the damn thing scratched my negative and the pic now has some crap on it and im kinda pissed.

any PS gurus out there wanna help me out? the PSD file is about 65 megs. if anyoen wants to help me PM me and ill give you my FTP info so you can grab it

ive been messing with the patch tool but it just looks like a glorified clone tool and im not sure i canb make it do what i want

Sorry, it's the "healing" tool. The icon looks like a band-aid. Yes, it IS a glorified clone tool. That's the point. There's no magic way to repair scratches and such. You have to play with the healing tool to find settings and source points in the image that will work.

Image repair is not a matter of running a filter and TaDa! All Finished! There are people who make a living doing that and they're not cheap.
