EDIT: Photochop time!

I have a few fine pictures of Slim, unfortunately they need a little doctoring to remove certain elements:p
I'll be scanning them in from hard copy tonight. Anybody up for some real fine photochop removal? PM me, we can work out the details. I will pay for good work.

A very dear friend has died suddenly, and I volunteered to put up a site with some photos and things in memoriam.

Link to original thread.

I can't really code it myself, I can't see the screen this morning and the keyboard is a mess. I'm rusty at it at best, and I'm in no shape right now.

I already have the site up and installled viper guestbook. I can work with some framework or CMS or something( I hope), I just can't wing it right now.

These are the options in Fantastico.

Which one of these would be the easiest?

Drupal
Geeklog
Joomla
Mambo Open Source
PHP-Nuke
phpWCMS
phpWebSite
Post-Nuke
Siteframe
TYPO3
Xoops

Thank you so much in advance. You guys and gals are the best.

'Gallery' is a good photo web app. I have only experience with Joomla and it is fairly easy to get going, but customisation was a little tricky as far as I could tell. No doubt someone will flame me for being a dumbass.

I was leaning towards gallery simple is good. I installed it maybe a dozen times back in the '1and 1' heyday.
I got a second recommend for joomla, with the same " PITA to customize" warning.
You can't be that much of a dumbass eh?:D

Please keep us updated because I've considered doing something similiar for a friend who passed away last year.
