Photoshop Gradients

No, I don't mean how do I edit what the start and end colors will be. I mean, after I have drawn a gradient in a layer, is there any way to select it and say drag its endpoints to other locations? I know I can use the step backwards function and just redraw it til it looks good, but I was hoping someone knows a better method.

Use a Gradient Overlay on a layer instead of the gradient tool itself.

Or use a gradient layer.

New Fill Layer -> Gradient...
