Caveat- Read my post below for possible pitfalls :disgust:

GET ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS possibly FREE or better! (or for $30 at the most)
This is supposed to be an excellent program for consumer-level image editing. Especially at this price.

Amazon: $79.99 for Elements
Upgrade rebate: $30 for having a licensed copy of PS 5.0LE (I got this free with a Maxtor HD 1.5 years ago) or another imaging software
Rebate for $50 for buying both the Epson printer and PS Elements
plus $5 off $35 coupon floating around the web...

You get paid for taking this off their hands. It looks like one of the rebates only needs a copy of the Epson UPC and the other rebate needs the original.

I ended up buying this from Office Depot B&M ($99) because of the instant gratification factor. Will end up paying about $15 using the 10 off 50 coupon and the 2 rebates.

As always, YMMV.

PS - I bought it from OD with Blue... time to price match Amazon!

Link to the $50 rebate? You sure it works with the $100 785 rebate? CSR at Epson told me that the $30 smartmedia rebate would not be honored if you did the $100 Camera/Printer rebate.

Edit: Duh, I see the $50 rebate on the Amazon page now. Still wondering if this will work with the $100, though.

Ok, I see that both the $30 and $50 are both sent tot the same place in TX(so they might not work together), but the $100 rebate is sent to IL. Can these places really communicate that well?

Thanks for the heads up.

Elements is a SUPERB piece of entry-level image processing software. Actually has a few little easy-to-use tricks that its pricey big brother doesn't have. If you have a digital camera and want good solid image software without spending a fortune, you cannot beat Elements. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Nice find!

Since you've already purchased the software and u started the thread, why don't you give epson a call and find out what they say (Will $50 work if you do the $100 Camera/printer mir).

Just called both Adobe and Epson - here's the skinny:

1) Adobe said "Either one or the other on the $50 and $30 rebates on Elements (they are both sent to TX)"
2) Epson said "Both the $100 digicam and the $50 Elements will be honored, since they are sent to 2 different addresses" (IL & TX)

So, the best deal is still at Office Depot:
99.99 +tax = ~$106
$106 - 50 rebate - 10 off 50=$46
the PM OD to Amazon with Blue for an extra 16-20 (not sure on how they will PM with the 10 off 50 included)

Net cost somewhere around 30 bucks. Still a killer deal at 70% off retail.
