Is PCS the best photo editor? What about if it's a RAW image.

When did Corel buy PSP? Is it any different because of that? I hadn't looked at the price in awhile, but noticed today that it costs twice as much as it did a few years ago.

PCS lets you do a lot of stuff with RAW images. it is by far the most professional tool on the market for such purposes; that may explain the price difference between PSP and photoshop.

that said, there's a lot of stuff that PSP does that can be done in photoshop. however, photoshop is the best way to go.

Thanks. I know a few years ago when I did a little work with both, PSP did a few things (or did things easier) that PS couldn't do. Not true anymore?

And I just realized my wording wasn't the best asking if PSP is different since Corel bought it (fixed now).
