I recently upgarded to CS12 and one of my major pet peves is the drawing window, it seems to take up an extra spot in the windows task bar, and not only that, but when you move it, it vanishes, shifting everything else over, then when you let go it reapears, shifting everything else over again.

Is there a way to make it NOT use up another task bar space to begin with?

Adobe's product naming (CS5, CS6, etc.) and version numbers (12, 13, etc.) are not the same. For example, CS4 is version 11.0, CS5 is version 12.0, CS 5.5 is version 12.1, CS 5.5 Extended is version 12.0.4, CS6 is version 13.0.

Sorry I don't know how to correct the drawing window issues, but Photoshop is a fairly complicated niche program so you might have better luck with this type of quesiton on other sites.

I don't think it's really a bug I'm thinking there may be a setting to prevent it. TBH I actually prefer photoshop 7.0 to this one as 7.0 was just more streamlined, but it always errored out when saving to network drives so it kinda got annoying. But I may have to just go back to it and put up with that issue. I'd go with Gimp but it's super annoying to use, even simple tasks like cropping require to go through a bunch of menus, and it too, opens up tons of mini windows instead of one big one.
