Photoshop - adding skin texture?

Just got a few "high" detail sonogram photos of my daughter (still in mama). These were done with a 3D machine so there is some depth to them. Has anyone had any success or is anyone pretty good at filling in the blanks of a face with photoshop?

I should have a link to one of the pics but I'm afraid of the usual ATOT photoshop work on my first daughter (you know what I mean, I'll end up with some cat in the pic).

Ultimate goal would be to add a skin tone. Can I do this, can you? Thanks!
