Photoshop 7 problem w/ the mouse

When my friend trys to draw a line in photoshop 7 it takes like seconds later for the line to show up after hes all ready started to draw ...anyone know what could be causing this problem?

is he using a cordless mouse?...I read there are some problems with ps and cordless meeses..else check for a fix at adobe.

Too many possibilities... what size is the file he's working on? What're the specs on the puter? It sounds like it's getting a touch overloaded. Might wanna check the scratch disks and their location.

no, this is simply not true.

what he said, give us more info and we can offer more help.

I would make sure he has the 7.0.1 update and that his computer makes all the specs on the side of the box (note that PS 7 requires a P3+ CPU).

hes running a amd athlon 1.3 ghz
256 MB PC2100 DDR SDram {Microsoft Windows Me}


this information help? btw how can he get an update for ps?
