Photoshop 7 doesn't like the color profile of my Samsung 955DF

Adobe Photoshop 7 doesn't like the color profile of my Samsung 955DF. When I have the .icm for the 955DF loaded any image I open in PS is magenta. The shade of magenta varies but it's all magenta. When I load the .icm for Plug and Play Monitor the images open with accurate coloring. wtf?

Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior? I know it's an easy thing to just use the drivers for Plug and Play Monitor rather than using the native driver for the 955DF but to me that's a rig job.

Ideas?

An interesting update... PS 7 doesn't like the .icm that gets installed by Windows Update but it DOES like the .icm that comes on the driver CD provided by Samsung. It is an older file but it works.

Is that weird or what?
