1st off I'm pretty much a PS newbie... but I'm learning fast.
I am creating some gfx for a website interface, and I have created a new RGB channel (an alpha channel to be exact) the basically incudes some gausian blur to create a "bubbled or embossed" affect on the selection.
However, whenever I go to save the file as a gif for web posting, I lose that alpha channel (doesnt even show up in export preview)
If I leave that layer tha tincludes that extra RGB channel and come back I have to manully turn it back on to visible (the eyeball thing)
Why oh why cant I export to gif with that alpha channel? It only works in .psd format!
HELP!
