Photoshop 5.5 or Paint Shop Pro 7?

Hi. I've been wondering which program I should use to do my graphics editing. So far, I've been doing it on Adobe Photoshop 5.5, and I have a pretty good feel for the program and its tools. But recently, I got a copy of Paint Shop Pro 7 from a friend, and I heard it was a good program. I wanted to know which program to invest more time into learning the advanced functions of. Naturally, Photoshop 5.5 would be easier, but I don't know which is a better program. I don't have the money to get Photoshop 7, but I guess I could warez it.

Don't talk about warez here. I'd suggest learning Photoshop if you plan to do anything with graphics design.

Yeah Photoshop is definetly the best for editing. Oh and learn every shorcut ASAP, they really save ALOT of time.

Photoshop all the way. Thats not to say PSP isn't any good, it's just thjat PS as you know is the industry standard. 😉

I prefer PSP for my editing needs, Photoshop is WAYYY to complex and overkill for us mere mortals...

You shouldn't be talking about warez here, but I think that Phoshop is the way to go. I've been using it since version 3 and haven't looked back since.

It is quite expensive, but it's worth every dollar. If you can't afford it, PSP is nice too (although not as powerfull)
