Those benches are of two 3870 cards in Crossfire, not the 3870x2 card, though performance will likely be similar.

Second, that can't be the cooler they intend to use. 😛 It doesn't even have ramsinks or anything at all to cool the RAM.
 
I don't think performance will be similar, we're talking 2 gpu's on 1 board, with some kind of hardware crossfire solution ? Performance, hopefully, will be better then 2 normal crossfired HD3870's.
