I go to Cornell. Trust me, your assumptions about the anti-war protesters here are pretty accurate.
Most of them are still on the "No Blood For Oil!!!!!" kick.
But please, please, don't generalize. There are rational students here (most of us are in the engineering school or in technical majors...but regardless).
We're a minority, but we do exist, and we do attempt argue/debate with the protesters.
Unfortunately, those attempts are usually met with "BUSH IS A NAZI!" or something equally absurd.
Really, most of the protesters are people who have a lot of (understandable) anxiety built up, and feel like they should be doing something, so they join on in with the guy with the megaphone.
Baaaaaa, baaaaaaaaaa say the students.
