photos app + google drive question

With the old iphoto you could select images and drag them straight over a chrome window to upload to google drive. The new (ish) photos app doesn't appear to do the same but I might be missing something.

At present the work flow is copy from photos app to desktop, then into drive. Its only a little step but ideally I'd like to mis the middle step.

Assuming this is OSX that youre talking about, why arent you just dragging the photos directly to the GDrive folder?

Yes, sorry its osx. Our whole school uses google drive with a terabyte+ of stuff. I use selective folder syncing to keep a local copy of my stuff but can't sync the whole of drive to my macbook. More often than not I want to send the photos to a shared folder thats not local on my device.

Like I said its not a huge problem, but its a niggle I find annoying (much like my appleTV and its resolution problems). It worked before, now theres a new app and it doesn't work as smoothly now. Rarg.
