Anyone know of some good fast color film? slide film is preferred, but print film is fine too. im goin to the races this weekend and wanna mess around with race photography. Thanks
See if you can get away with Kodak's MAX film, which is actually ISO 400.
The noise is fairly low. Hopefully, you will have tons of light, so you can keep the shutter speed as fast as possible.
Slide film doesn't get very fast. The really good slide film is in ISO 50-100 which is way too slow. As for print film try some Fuji NPH or just go with Kodak Royal Gold (100 or 400)...
Heres a tip i just read in popular photo magazine: panning. also, don't be so close to the car, use a zoom lense; if the car is closer it moves much faster relative to the camera.
they have a whole article (at least i think it was pop photo) on photographing race cars.
