I just ordered some photochromatic lenses online. They are for biking. I want sun protection during the day but most importantly, clear, non tinted eye shields at night. I often get on the bike during sunlight and come back during the night.
Are most plastic based photochromatic lenses pretty clear at night? They react off UV I read, so they shouldn't be affected by evening lights, street lights, or cars.
Are they all about the same or do cheapo ones react poorly then more expensive ones. Glass or plastic? (btw what movie was that from?)
