Pics get hosted and linked, thread gets made, people start talking about it, network traffic spikes for a series of one user's pics, they get flagged for review at Photobucket, review determines them to be nudes or whatever, pics get removed from photobucket. Eventually, like what just happened with imageshack and another forum I post on, some dumbass was hosting a bunch of nudes and imageshack found out. Now the entire forum's domain is added to imageshack's blacklist. I actually really like imageshack for hosting (I post pics of me and my crew's kills while bounty hunting in a video game) but now I and others who use the service and actually follow the rules can't use my little imageshack hosting / posting script and have to go out of my way to find another host and rewrite a script if that's even possible with the new host.

Screw your head on straight and make sure links you post are hosted appropriately in the first place and follow the damn rules.

I am sorry but that is not why those services suck.
They suck because they will have intermittent periods where the pictures are unreachable.
E.g. bachelorette party pics!

There were a couple of people that got error messages when trying to view the pics.
But 2 hours later people could still see them on photobucket.

That is "the suck"!

I have used Photobucket for several years and imageshack since it's conception. I've never seen this. Ever.
