Photo Stream Questions

I have not yet started using Photo Stream, but I want to. However, I have a question that I cannot seem to find the answer to online.

We have four iDevices in our family. I want to have all the photos taken on those devices go to iCloud and automatically into iPhoto on our main computer. However, I do NOT want all the photos from each iDevice to show up on every iDevice.

Can all 4 of the iDevices send pictures to iCloud and iPhoto, but not to each other?

So, once I turn on Photo Streaming, will all of our Camera Rolls merge, or is there a separate roll for the Stream?

Oh, well, that is not so bad.

Does the Stream Roll take up space on the iDevice or only the photos you look at?

I believe the stream roll will download to each of the devices since I can access all the pictures at once (even offline). It's similar to dropbox where the photo stream roll gets sync'd across all devices (as well as in the cloud)

Eek. That is not good as my (and my wife's) iPhones are pretty full already.

I wonder what it does if the iDevice is full.
