I was wondering if there were any good programs that you can repair damaged/old photos with? I am hoping for one that doesn't have a steep learning curve or can do it automatically( yeah right), and doesn't break the bank..Any Ideas ??
Photoshop, Corel PhotoPaint are two with the tools to do that. Both have steep learning curves, and can be pricey. There might be some shareware programs but I don't know of any with the same power.
Paint Shop Pro has much of the same functionality as an app like Adobe Photoshop or Corel Photopaint, but is more powerful than an app like Kai's PhotoSoap. There's a 30 or 120 day trial version for download and it runs around $100-150.
If the photos aren't TOO bad, you can give a shot at apps like Adobe PhotoshopLE (comes with some scanners or HDs) or Adobe PhotoDeluxe.
Thanks for the onfo guys. I have MGI Photo Suite LE III that came with my scanner, and that is not cutting it. I also have access to Photoshop at work but it is just to much for me to try to learn on my free time at work. Maybe I will try the photosoap and the Paint shop Pro Demo..
