Photo output green

Hi-

Using a Dell Inspiron 9300, few weeks old. I print a lot of photos, usually with a Canon IP8500. My photos print with a green tint, with multiple print programws and on multiple printers. Dell hasn't been of help with this.

Connect via USB cable to printers. Test pages from printers are fine, printed using printer keys.

I cannot imagine what would cause this with multiple programs and printers. Happens with a variety of photos.

Any thoughts? Help-I need to do some prints for Christmas for people!

The first tree I would bark up is the photopaper you are using. Is the photopaper a constant here?
But often the photopaper makes a huge difference. Some brand will print well and another brand or texture of paper will print badly with the same ink and settings.

Not sure what you mean about multiple printers but the computer used should make zero difference.
But if you are using totally different printers and getting a strong green cast on all, it just sounds wierd
for it to be anything other than paper.----especially if it can't be adjusted in software. Were it only on on one printer, I might suspect some nozzle clogging in any one of the colors.

But just my quess and I might be off base. Maybe someone has a better guess,

. If the paper is not the culprit...
If Windwoes has one or more primary printer handling DLL(s) that runs with all drivers, then maybe that went TU. Or maybe the drivers aren't getting cleaned out well enough between printer trials (unless you are leaving all the drivers in there all the time). There is a sort of generic driver cleaning program out there that roots out a lot of registry crap left there by normal driver uninstalls.
. IAC, it has to be something outside of the printers or the printer's proprietary drivers. That would be the first thing I did. Uninstall all printer drivers. Disconnect all printers, run the driver cleaner, Check for missing or corrupt Win files that are related to printing. then reinstall the printer(s) one at a time (reboot and test printers between each driver/printer install) exactly per mfr's directions.
