i tried picasa, acdsee, thumbsplus.
EVERY single one of those programs has a problem.
-->
I REALLY like picasa, but it ignores my file-structure (subfolders etc.). I need a software which displays thumbs like picasa - BUT ONLY the thumbs in THAT specific folder.
It should NOT display anything else. It SHOULD also seperate the visual display of the thumbs (eg. like picasa already does)/
Eg. if i click on a folder "pics 2005" it should display ALL (incl. subfolders) picture-thumbs in that folder.
Picase does NOT do that
===>
ACdsee does NOT allow showing recursive subfolders AT ALL (or do i miss something ?) It only shows what is in root and shows an ICON for any subfolder, bit i have to CLICK on the folder to open it so it reads in thumbs.
I need ALL thumbs for any specifies folder incl. subfolders
==>
Thumbsplus basically DOES this......BUT it puts all the thumbnails on the screen and does not SEPARATE the pics according to what folder they're in.
If i have a folder with thousands of pictures and hundreds of subfolders it just throws ALL thumbs on the screen.
ALso, thumbsplus is EXTREMELY (and i mean: EXTREMELY) slow in reading my folders...and i have a high-end machine.
What else can i try ?
thanks for all your input !
