My university webserver does not permit PHP or any serverside dynamic webpages, so thus far I've been limited to using Adobe Photoshop's automated web gallery....which sux.

Is there any auto HTML/thumbnail generating web photo gallery application that can be used as an alternative. ?

frontpage has some thumbnail stuff but that involves doing it manually one by one.

There should be some tutorials online for the thumbnail stuff

check it out

msg me if u need to find them

Sorry, I didn phrase my question properly. I am looking for am application that outputs HTML web pages with a photgallery built in. Pretty much what Photshop does, but maybe more customizable. I just want to select the images and input.

Oh, in that case there are several applications available. Only one I can think of off the top of my ghead besides photoshop is iPhoto for the Mac.

I would go the easy route.

Get web hosting for $5/yr and install coppermine.

$5/yr web hosting comes with the following and a domain is not required (optional)
  • Hosting for your own domain name
  • 100mb Disk Space
  • 1000mb of bandwidth per month
  • 5 subdomains
  • 5 ftp accounts
  • 5 mysql databases
  • 5 e-mail accounts
  • Auto Responders
  • Mail forwarding
  • Web based e-mail
  • Mail blockers
  • Web based statistics
  • Password protected directories
  • Front page extensions 2002
  • CGI Support
  • PHP Support
  • MySQL Support
  • Server Side Includes
  • PhpMyAdmin

If you're referring to mine, it was very easy and took about 10 minutes

1) Installed coppermine pichosting software.
2) Installed the Mac OS X theme.

Done.
