Photo editing - Photoshop PC / Low Budget

Hello @all,

I need to build a PC very soon ( purpose: primarily photo editing with photoshop / working with lot's of raw files).
The problem is that I can only spend 320 USD all together (i.e. for
a mainboard, a cpu/gpu solution, and system memory).

Therefore I am struggling a bit for the best mix / compromise.
The system should be energy efficient, but of course not underperform.
Currently I am considering a kaveri apu and 16gb ram.
I would be tremendously grateful for some opinions / advice (maybe you could tell me some specific components); thank you!

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.

4. IF you're buying parts OUTSIDE the US, please post a link to the vendor you'll be buying from.
We can't be expected to scour the internet on your behalf, chasing down deals in your specific country... Again, help us, help YOU.

5. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.

6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Note that it is usually not cost or time effective to choose your build more than a month before you actually plan to be using it.

X. Do you need to purchase any software to go with the system, such as Windows or Blu Ray playback software?

Thank you for your questions!
For now, I only need (1.) a mainboard + (2.) a cpu/gpu solution + and (3.) system memory (-> ~ 320USD).
I will buy the components within a month.
[annotation: the other components will be namely a 300w 80plus bronze psu and a 2tb-7200rpm-sata3 hdd (no ssd)); operating system: windows7 pro 64bit; main applications: ms office and foremost - as mentioned- the latest photoshop (3D effects are not so important); all of it is already purchased/licensed]
I do not have any fundamental preference for Intel nor AMD, or any other brand. Components will be ordered in the Euro zone (for example www.computeruniverse.net).
I would be thankful for some ideas and explanations.

Since you're in Europe and will be buying your parts with Euros (presumably), can you give us your budget in Euros?

PS shouldn't need that much from a GPU. Especially without 3D work. So an i3 will be faster than an APU:
