Photo batch resampling?? (better than resizing) software???

If it's all I can do, then I'll just use that, but I recall somebody on a youtube tutorial showing this program where you could even drag pics thru an icon on your desktop and they were automatically resized........(can't honestly say if they were resampled or not)......but while loading pics on my daughter's iPod, I noticed a significant difference between simply batch resizing and "resampling"!!!

irfan view can resample images just fine.
perhaps even better than photoshop cs2 when you use the lanczos filter.

use irfvan view, and while resizing via resampling, use the lanczos filter.

"Action" funtion does it.

Photozoom Pro does a better job than Photoshop for resizing, and AFAIK it supports batch resizing. There is much more control over the resizing process than with Photoshop.

I use irfanview with the resample function and it works great.
