phoneline static, dials 911.

For some reason today, my phoneline became all staticky. I can hardly hold an internet connection or dial/receive phonecalls. Also it dialed 911 all by itself twice. First time, I was unable to answer a callback from the dispatcher, and the cops came to my door.

weird. anyone had this problem before? must fix have it fixed soon!! ack

Often the line problems cause our phone to ring, however, for no reason.
