So, I trade some stuff for jailbroken iPhone 4. I was going to wipe it and use it for my tmobile sim and really for Netflix streaming but the guy I traded with left some really cool SW on it and I wanna keep it. My only problem was that I had no way of getting videos or photos I would record off this thing without using itunes which would wipe the phone and sw that i want to keep. Anyway, after some googling I found a product called PhoneDisk which lets macs and PCs look in the root of the phone and lets you copy to and from. I played with the trial version which only allows 100megs until it dies. Its 20 bucks to unlock full version. Anyone use this? It doesnt allow you to mess with music stuff but I dont care about that as I have an ipod that I use for music. Just want to know if its worth the 20 bucks and if it will mess up the phone at all.
 
I have a non jailbroken Verizon iPhone 4 and if I want to take pics or videos off, I plug the phone in and open it in windows explorer, no itunes needed. Also, I dont think iTunes will break your jailbreak, only if you update it while in itunes, but you can tell it to not update and you can still sync and load apps.
