Phonebooth

It was a 50/50 for me...it was good for such a limited premise, but at the same time, it was such a limited premise 🙂 Decent storyline with the two women and the "twist" ending was pretty cool (Sutherland...!?) But other than that, it had nothing too spectacular about it.

The fact that I don't remember a lot about it says something too

 it was sorta dumb.. ended way before i thought it would.. not much of a story.. and he's just freakin in a phone booth.. there's not even any mindless action or stupid fart jokes..

It's okay, I thinkn katie Holmes' role was downplayed. Would've liked to see more of that aspect of the storyline. Aside from that, it was pretty much an escalation of panic- not a lot else.
Not bad, though. Worth the rental, and like the $5 or $7 bin at wal-mart.

i thought it was blah. whole thing didn't make sense. he wanted to punish the dude in the phone booth for "being bad" but he kills the innocent pizza guy who's just trying to make ends meet? i dunno.

***SPOILERS BELOW***

(if you didn't expect them in this thread you are a numbskull anyway) 😛

That was the biggest problem I had with the movie. WTF did the pizza guy do to deserve getting his throat slit?

Anyway, I still thought it was pretty good for what it was.

hated it. isnt plausible at all...makes no sense and wasnt the least bit suspenseful.
the direction was a horrible attempt at...something but i have no idea what.
maybe an extended music video minus a cathcy beat and scantily clad women?

Worth watching all the way through once. I doubt I'd enjoy it again though. (I did enjoy it the first time).

I do recall being irritated when it was on HBO or Movie Channel or one of those channels just about every time I turned on the TV last month.

Yeah, that's irritating.
I swear the mummy returns is seventeen hours long
