Phone with good audio

The jack plug in my 920 seems to be failing and is therefore on the look for a new phone.
I don't game but use my phone a lot for audio using headphones (Beyerdynamic DT880 and Sennheiser C5.00), web browsing mail etc. I would have liked a Windows Phone, but my lost hope for the platform and mediocre sound quality seems to rule it out.

Samsung S6 seems like the obvious choice

I can get a S6 64Gb for 3500DKK ($530) the s7 32Gb is $690

The Google nexus 6P 32Gb is $625
BQ Aquaris M5 is $360

Any better suggestions?

HTC 10

LG V10

Experia Z5 premium

I'd give Sony a shot myself, Samsung seems pretty intent on injecting as many ads as possible in everything they make.

HTC 10 -- it's supposed to have good audio both for headphones and speakers. Not the cheapest phone, of course, but it'll be fast and receive good OS support. Better battery life than the S6, too.

As solid a phone as the S6 is, its audio quality isn't as stellar (at least, based on tests I've seen) and its battery life is so-so. That and, well, it's Samsung. You're going to be waiting several months for OS updates, and since the S6 is already over a year old, you will be purposefully abandoned OS-wise in less than a year.

S7 International version (which is the one available to the OP) has pretty good sound. It's a tad quiet though if thats a problem for you.
