Payed for two different vpns. People can still see my original IP

What's the deal?

Anyone? Frustrated that I payed for two vpns and they didn't work. Is it my phone? I use a moto g. If I got a note 4, would the vpns work then?
 
I use private internet access, once account lets you use it on 5 diff. pcs / mobile phones and it does hide your IP, plus, you're not given a dedicated IP but a shared one, which is even better. They also keep 0 logs
