The VX8100 is a nice new phone. Give it some time like the e815 and I think everyone will be surprised. Its got all the functionality in it including bluetooth, miniSD, cam, etc... There are rumors floating around Howard of Verizon updates getting the MP3 player going so regardless if they are true or not, it does indicate that it is in the works. And that is one of the major complaints but obviously, not for long. Otherwise, the LG menus and build are quite strong. I have seen WAP settings floating around howard forums for the VX8100 saying its real easy to set up... so thats a bonus.

I picked up the VX8100 last week. Its a nice phone but it has one MAJOR drawback the earpiece volume fluxuates to much. I find it very hard the hear the person on the other end of the call. I have read though quite a few CEll phone forums, and the low volume seems to be a common issue with some users.

I think that im going to give the e815 a try.

it was released five days after teh e815...

Go with the E815,

There are a lot more er uh things you can do with the 815,,,

Do you ever wonder why Verizon sells these phones with all of the features disabled? Get it now = $5.00 for a ring tone... Not with the 815 and a Blue tooth adapter...

Supposedly there is an upgrade available at VZW stores. IF you still have time I would go try that first. The VZW guy won't tell me what it does but I would think it may correct some of the volume issues and the MP3 player hopefully.
