Currently on at&t service landline that cost me $26 /mo with all the fees its about $37/mo mfuker. Any service I should try for a better rate? No cell phone here. thanks

Here's an idea, get DSL at home, AT&T doesn't require a land line any more. Then get Ooma or Magic Magic. You should be able to get the DSL for about $20'ish a month. Magic Jack is $20 a year and Ooma is $200 to buy and $10 a year.
