My friend keeps bugging me to get a damn phone network like it is his house, but wouldn't it be 'noisy'? dirty signal? pros/cons?

Not really too many cons, cept that its only 10mbps. Also, if you plan to have more than 1 computer in any given location, you might need to buy a bridge (or a bridge/router for sharing internet).
