Phone Jacks Using Electrical Outlets

Anyone use this thing? You plug the phone into this device that you plug into the outlet. Then you plug another part in an outlet anywhere else in your house and plug the phone into that...

Wondering if it is any good...Reviews please?

I think they use the power lines in your house as phone cables. They work ok, not the greatest and not dsl friendly.

I could be talking out of my ass, but I would speculate that the phone signal gets modulated onto the 120VAC 60Hz line voltage. On the receiving end, it demodulates the signal back to phone line.

Or maybe it's just magic
