phone encryption

Hello everyone,

I am interested in purchasing a software called PhoneCrypt, from SecurStar. All i know about it is that it is a professional telephone encryption software that protects your communication against eavesdropping and interception by encrypting confidential phone calls using ultra-strong military grade encryption.

I would be very grateful if any of you could give me more information and opinions about it.

Looks like it encrypts cellphone calls with AES and has a few other features. I'm interested in why you think your cellphone might be tapped? Cellphones are already encrypted and listening in involves following you around with a van full hackers and radio gear - it's much easier to tap your landline and intercept your internet communications etc. Unless you work for some kind of secret goverment agency I doubt you need this, and if you do work for some secret goverment agency you surely have better people to consult than me

And of course you know that the party being called needs the encryption package too, right?

Just purchase a set of STU-III/STE cell phones.
