Ok so the first game was good, I enjoyed it enough to pick up the second one, Justice for All. The conclusions that this second game expects you to make are completely asinine. First, I'm supposed to know the pieces of a broken vase are able to fit back together, perfectly, in more ways than one, so that the letters on the front can be rearranged? Then later on in the game I was supposed to believe that a cape - which is usually attached to a person by a chain in front of the neck or SOMETHING - is able to magically detatch itself from a person and fly UP to attach itself - perfectly no less - to a stupid statue.

These games are fun but the trial and error bullshit you have to endure sometimes is nearly enough to make me snap that little cartridge in half.

Just had to vent.

Yea, Justice for All was eh. Ace Attorney, the first, was great. The third - Trials and Tribulations - is probably the best. There aren't a lot of those wacky conclusions in it.

The final trial in the 2nd game is epic, though.

That is good to hear, if the last case is good like you say I will stick it out to the third game.

Yes. The second game is pretty much unanimously rated the least favorite of the three by fans of the series, and the only decent case in that game is the fourth one, which is pretty fun.

I'm on the last case on the second one now. Just now getting to trial. I usually lay like 15-20 minutes a night. So far I playing the second one has been kind of tedious. I've already bought the third though. It seems to be getting kind of hard to find around here so I picked it up.

I tried to like Phoenix Wright (the first one at least) and while it was mildly entertaining, there's no way I'd buy any of the sequels or replay it. The way the courtroom dramas played out was just a little over the top for me. I guess I prefer something slightly more realistic.
