Phoenix Suns making some franchise history tonight

The Suns rock this year, plain and simple.

Tonight they are facing the Milwaukee Bucks in what should be a (somewhat) decent game.

If the suns win tonight, they will compile their franchises first ever 16 game winning streak!

The suns have already compiled a 15 game winning streak earlier this year, and it ended abruptly when the Washington wizards beat them in OT (I was there, it was a heartbreaking loss)

Over the past 33 games, the suns are 31 and 2. The only 2 games they have lost were an OT loss to the wizards and a last second shot by Dirk and the Mavericks.

They are the highest scoring team in the NBA. They have steve nash, the assist leader in the NBA. They have the best Field Goal %, 3 Point %, and Free throw percentage.

Leandro Barbosa, who scores 20 some points a game, scores half of them on layups.

So this begs the question: Is there ANY team that is more fun to watch than the Phoenix Suns?

If only they could play defense, they would have a chance at the NBA title this year.

Yea, the Suns are fun to watch in the regular season. They are a great regular season team. I hope they bring that greatness with them to the playoffs at some point. :D

They are so damn fun to watch and I'll always watch them when they're on, the problem for the NBA is they seem to be the ONLY team worth watching, everyone else seems so vanilla.

They are actually playing very, very good defense this year.

Greg Oden won't land in boston. boston already has there star in Paul Pierce, they can only do so much to make the team better.

Greg Oden will land in Philly. They lost their star, and once the ncaa tourney rolls around, watch the Greg Oden hype go into overdrive.

Other teams at the bottoms like the Sonics have Ray allen and Rashard Lewis. Memphis had it chances last season and it wasn't as if they were a bad team.

QFT. I watch almost EVERY NBA game I get. I get NBA TV and occasionally some games come on the Random HD channels.

The team chemistry of the suns is just astounding. The ball movement, player movement, unselfishness, it is all amazing. It is something you don't see too often in the NBA *Cough* Gilbert Arenas, Kobe Bryant *cough*

I sure hope Steve Nash wins MVP again. He definitely needs to be put into the same category as Larry Bird and Wilt Chamberlin

The Suns are fun to watch because the moment you look away, something great happens.

Fun to watch maybe, but their style isn't gonna get them a championship. I guess it puts asses in seats and helpe make money, but not playing defense isn't gonna cut it verse the other elite teams. I remeber as of 1.5 weeks ago they were 0-6 against the top teams in the western conference, they are able to blow out all the bad teams, but when they meet another team that has its sh|t together they stuggle alot more. A very high seeding will gift them into the second round of the playoffs, but after that they are likely gonna beat 2 teams that so far they haven't been able to beat in the regular season.

I don't see how you can say this. They are ranked 24th in the league in points allowed per game. They only win because they score even more than they allow. When it gets to the playoffs, and the other teams get tougher on defense, I don't think they will be as successful.

Their win streak is definitely impressive even though I think they have had a favorable schedule during that stretch. Let's see how they play agains the Mavs, lakers and even the spurs (even though they're not playing their best ball).

I think they have a decent shot at a championship this year. Although if they go up against Dallas, I'd have to bet on Dallas.

This reminds me of the Pistons last year. They only had 5 losses by the All-star game. They looked unstoppable and everybody was talkin about them breaking the Bulls regular season record. They finished the season strong with 64 wins. Then in the playoffs they sucked badly, barely made it to the conference finals, almost lost to cleveland in the second round, then got smoked by miami.

You aren't taking everything into account. They give up so many points because the game is so fast paced. A team playing the Suns gets many more shots through the course of a game.

The best measure of defense is how many points you give up per possession. In this, they are tied for 7th in the league with Indiana, right behind Dallas.
