Phoenix/Mozilla problem

I use Mozilla on Redhat 9, works great. Now I started using Pheonix 0.5 on XP, which is the Mozilla browser right? I have a certain page that will load on Mozilla, but not on Pheonix. It is an MS page (www.xbox.com/fourms), but it works fine on Mozilla. Can anyone help, it's driving me nuts. I want to ditch IE, but not if I can't see all pages. Thanks.

Phoenix is a stripped down mozilla. Gecko (the html renderer) is the same, but they likely have different versions between the two you're using. If you're using mozilla on redhat, why not just use it in windows too?

I just wanted the browser and not the email, etc. I get a damn "HTTP/1.1 404 Object Not Found" on Pheonix, arrg. Maybe I'll get Mozilla, it's not worth grey hair.

You can install just the mozilla browser, and leave out the mail/chat/etc stuff.

Ya, xbox.com/forums goes to forums.xbox.com, but clicking on login or any forum will get the error. Mozzila 1.3 has the same problem, I'll try 1.4a now. Thanks for the help.

Edit: Mozilla 1.4a does it too. Maybe it an XP problem? Seems only IE6 likes that page. Any ideas?

Ah, you are right.

Amazingly pathetic that they can't even design a page that *loads* in something other than IE. Makes you wonder if they did it on purpose. It's pretty easy to make a page that looks wrong in certain browsers but it's pretty tough to make the thing not even load (on accident anyways).

WTF

I click login in IE or Phoenix and get the HTTP Not found. Furthermore, Any link gives an http 404 not found in both browsers
