It isn't necessary for there to be a question in order to lie. You are exposed to lies every day merely by being alive. In fact, your own brain and perceptions are probably the biggest liars of them all, so even alone in the universe you perceive lies daily. The idea that lack of inquiry somehow relates to a 'truthful' existence is certainly another lie.
