What about cars? Cars are dangerous, they exponentially more than terrorists do.. Imagine TERRORISTS w. CARS?!!

I would imagine that the majority of Americans would prefer that they pass through a metal detector and have their luggage x-rayed when boarding a plane or train. I know it does not prevent terrorism, but if they did not do these things, the population would be in an uproar about "WHY DID YOU NOT PROTECT US!!!"
