Phillips Rythmic Edge $49.99 - $20 MIR and possibly -$10 other rebate?

There are two rebates $20 from Phillips and $10 from Circuit city. However, both seem to require the original UPC. Today is the last day for free shipping.

I got the freebie hi-val card and took it back.

Once again we have a double rebate combo with each rebate requiring the original UPC code from the box. I assume this box only has one UPC code. Seems iffy. But sounds like a good deal if it's true.

The card and speaker combo from CompUSA for 20 after rebate is a great deal. It works in W2K + VIA without a problem. A good and cheap alternative to Aureal Vortex.

Yeah, DON'T buy this at Circuit City. At CompUSA you get the
same card PLUS a pair of 10W Phillips speakers (decent enough
for a budget system) for $19.95 after a SINGLE rebate submission.
(The card + speakers cost you $60, the rebate is for $40).

I was wondering about the quality of the card. I may go pick it up now. The hi=val poped and cracked when you put it to any test.

I got them for $20 after rebate. Great for my A7V because Aureal Vortex won't work in W2K + VIA. A decent system, worth the 20, but don't expect too much. There is also a connector on the speaker that you can plug in a sub woofer.
