im looking to buy a new 19inch monitor and i dont want trinitron. I see the lines on all of them except on a black background and it drives me crazy. i have a credit coming from phillips and i was thinking of appling it to a monitor or a new cd-r. I need both so im gonna spend the cash either way. anyways i was looking at the phillips 109b10 at the phillips site and i like the features was wondering if anyone owns or has used this monitor and how the quality is.

Thanx

I have a Philips Magnavox Trinitron on my system, and if the settings are right it's really a nice thing to look at, when people come over and see it for the first time, they say WoW. It's totally different than looking at other cheap monitors. The thing is about 6 years old so imagine the newer ones. I thought I had seen good but I'm typing this on a new Compaq V1100 with a cheap vid card and man what a sweet monitor. Crystal clear, I can just think what this would look like on my card. I was just over to look at the Philips site and they look awsome, imagine having 121 kHz frequency, with a flicker free display of 1600 x 1200. You can't go wrong but you will pay for it. I would put Philips in the higher ends along with sony and samsung.

Edit:This is the link I was at
