Phillips brand or RCA for TV?

Agreed. RCA and Phillips are fairly low end and do not rate well when it comes to TVs.

Back in the mid 90's I sold TV's - both brands sucked, but personally I would have bought an RCA any day over Philips.

Don't buy either, but if your only choices are the 2 then the phillips is the lesser of the two evils.

Better = Toshiba for CRT tv's
