Phillips Accoustic Sound Card Synthesizer...

Odd, the thing is I just changed sound cards and I did uninstall the other drivers for the SB LIVE Sound Card, but like before the synthesizer on the Phillips accoustid edge sound card won't install! It says something about a variable string error 401. Uh whats the problem here? Hope somone can help. Thanks.

Um, that would not be a logical decision as when i try to put it in on a clean install of windows anyways it would not go in. the question i have is, Will not installing the synthesyser cause mp3's to skip and sound kind of choppy every now and then and cause that high pitch frequency sounds in some games? If thats not the synthesiser than i have no idea what causes that annoying problem.

Okay it says. String variable is not large enough for string, check the string declarations Error 401. Hmmm....
