the samsung 500MP is a 15 inch lcd w/ tv tuner as well it can usually be found for 400-500, I have used this before and thought the screen and tv were good, not awesome but perfect for 99% of people.

not trying to thread crap just want to point out options

Personally, if I wasn't broke and wanted an LCD TV, I would get a $100 visiontek computerless TV tuner, and hook it up to a $200-$350 high quality15" LCD.
