Great price on a great card, but I can't find any reliability information on the retailer. Anyone dealt with them?

Wow. That's a great price. Is the only difference between the Seismic Edge and the Acoustic Edge the S/PIDF input?

No Linux support for the car per FAQs on Philips site. Good deal though. Just don't know how the retailer is... Anybody ?

The best thing i could find is that they have a Ebay account so their rating there was...
Past 6 mo.
Positive 2642
Neutral 31
Negative 39

Even on their few negative complaints...they had a response.
Seems like a GO on this one..I'm getting one of those cards.
I was just hoping to get 4 channel philips for a deal. This 5.1 is even a NICER card yet from what I remember, features & stuff.

I took the plunge with USPS Priority Mail shipping. I'll report back how it goes. Order confirmation arrived almost instantly.

This is a Very good sound card..Of course the audigy is a newer technology, but I have a Via chipset
board and Philips card is supppose to work fine with it.

hmm, I don't think it's legit. Esp. denying local pick-up and "Home based business". I can almost bet money on it that they're cons. Then, again the E-bay account thing is the only credible evidence that they're legit. Unless of course it's someone else's account.

It's just a small DVD player. You still need to hook it up to a screen and speakers.

If you can get it to me for $15, I'd like 1 too. Shipping is hella expensive from this place.

Buying 5 units will cost $30 in shipping.

I've been searching for a good(not outstanding) 5.1 soundcard and this looks to be the ticket.Even though the shipping is retarded,it still comes out cheaper than the lowest priced one on pricewatch($39).Nice find...hope the company is legit....

Hehe - Radioshack and any electronics store sells Co-axial splitters...that doesn't mean splitting your cable is legal :).

Uhhh.... splitting your cable is legal. I used to work for a cable company. You can split your cable as much as you want once it comes into your home. Your signal will degrade with each split and then you will have to buy signal boosters but you can split it as much as you want. Once cable comes into your home you can do whatever you want with it. However modifying anything outside of the house like pulling blocks off the tap is stealing. Just a little FYI.

The shipping really lessens the deal. IF it were 6 dollars, I would have bought on already :(.

Does anyone thing this will be a decent upgrade over a SBlive?
