Did anyone that ordered it, get their Philips DivX Progressive-Scan DVD Player from Amazon yet? I ordered it June 18th and still haven't gotten it yet - I think they may have forgotten about me. I don't really need it right this second since I already have a DVD player, but I was really looking forward to getting it. I could cancel it and pay a little bit more and get it at Best Buy or Target, but I'm too cheap.

Anyone else order close to when I did and get theirs?

yeah I know, since it is a want rather than a need, I didn't really want to pay $5 + tax more for it. I just think 3 months of a wait is crazy.

I think they may have forgot about me - anyone that has ordered after me could you let me know if you recieved it?

I've read that as long as you have the latest firmware it does. But I can't confirm, as I don't have any anime.

Yep, just burn a disc with the files, the player displays a menu with the titles, you pick one.

Is it CONFIRMED dual-layer DVD+R compatible? If so, I think I will have to buy one so I can burn all these TV episodes sitting on my hard drive and watch 'em on the widescreen!

just got it from walmart ($69.84) and I love it. Watching top gear episodes on my TV now and they look better on the TV then on the computer monitor.
