philips acoustic edge problem

when i watch divx, the sound quality becomes scratchy (bad sound quality)
thats on windows 2000, on win98, it works fine
the thing i noticed was on win2000, my vid card, soundcard, ethernet card all share the same irq, while on win98, its all different
so im thinking.. can this irq sharing be whats causing the problem? or bad drivers? (mp3's, mpegs, games all sound good, just divx is messed up)
help me people
and if it is the irq sharing problem.. how do i assign each thing its own irq?
i have the asus cuv4x motherboard (awardbios)
thanx

there is a first revision to their drivers HERE that took out all of the extraneous noise for my Philips card. ( Make sure you have DMA enabled for the drive as well). I spent about 2 hours chasing the problem down, figuring the card was so new, there was no way they had new drivers out already. Also, save that link, as their site is a bitch to navigate 🙂

SEOTAIJI,
I had the same prob with games and it was the IRQ sharing. The best way to get your cards to stop sharing one IRQ is to move them to different PCI slots.
