Hes mostly right. My bad. It used to be hard to find a Philips branded tv 15+years ago. Usually it was Magnovox or Philips Magnovox. But they split the names. Funny thing is I have a 22 year old Magnovox TV that still works great and a 5 year Philips TV that sucks balls. IMO, I like Magnovox branded TVs better. My mother still has a Magnovox tv for nearly 20 years. My son's Phlips TV just died recently and was only 4 years old.

90 day warranty.
I bought a refurbed 42" Philips plasma from them, still going after a year.

i wouldn't buy a refurbish lcd, after 90-days your stuck if anything happens and price is now $900
