not bad... If they can get em under $400 im game, seeing as my computer addiction makes me a cheapskate elsewhere.

I got one of these when I jumped on the costco deal for $600. It's a great TV, brilliant color and vivid picture. I have my HTPC hooked up to it as well as my xbox and the comcast hd cable box. It's a great TV.

Actually, I just got a 32 inch refurb from that very same outlet. I found one review of the Phil outlet, and the customer mentioned that the TV had been so poorly packed that it broke during the transport. Well, guess what happened to mine: it broke during the transport as well. I was instructed by a philips tech to bring it to a closeby authorized repair facility, where the unit has been for the last 3 weeks. The picture was missing the blue component, none of the rear inputs worked, the S-Video cable plug was bent out of shape, the side inputs were loose, and the right speaker was defunct...The repair facility has ordered replacement parts (covered by the 90-day warranty period), but the unit has not been repaired yet...

Do you have any problems with your XBOX and HD? From the last Philips HDTV I tried, it only showed progressive images when using the component connection. This means games that support progressive display properly but the default MS Dashboard does not show up at all. Have they made any changes to these TVs as to auto detect whether the source is progressive or interlaced and switch accordingly?

I think this was a better deal. I am so happy with my TV. It's got HDMI input and 2 sets of component input. Got a nice DVI to HDMI cable and all is well. Right now this TV is $650, but I'm told the $100 rebate may return soon or the price may lower soon. You may want to watch out for it. Just a suggestion.

Yeah, I heard that was an issue, however, it's not with my TV. The xbox dash was originally really dark, then I figured out that the brightness was set too low when it was on the component setting so I turned it up and all is good! And lemme tell you, Halo 2 looks awesome on it.
